I believe I'm on track to do this by my set date 2 years ago

It won’t be easy (but when has dieting been easy?)

I am really motivated to do this and keep going during the summer.

I’m putting last summer’s clothes on eBay over this month meaning I’ll have to lose the damn weight or have nothing to wear (I have bought some smaller clothes and refuse to buy any more clothes at my current size as I have no intention of staying at this weight for long). I think this is a good enough incentive.



I have managed to do OK-ish but a big change in diet hasn't helped 2 years ago

I have only lost 3 lbs so far this year but I have lost not gained weight overall. I was down a little more than this but gained a few lbs before re-losing a couple over the last 3 weeks.

The main change for me this year has been eliminating gluten from my diet. I have changed shape (face, neck and torso) for the better despite gaining a little weight initially due to getting to know what I can eat and not eat. I feel better too. No baked stuff and loads of other stuff I can’t eat. My difficulty is eating veggie gluten-free foods that are savoury. Sweet is very easy but I don’t need/want sweet stuff all the time.

I need to smash this target by the end of June/July to wear my summer clothes. I bought them last summer for when I got a lot closer to my ‘goal’ weight and I want to wear them this year and sell the clothes I wore last year.

I have put in a goal to complete by the end of May. 2 months to do the last lbs. Possible and I’m going to do all I can.



Still not going well - looks like I'm doing my forfeit 2 years ago

I’m sure he’ll like the forfeit and we both know that not obtaining this goal in the tight timescale is down to me not him.

Oh well. Do what I can…



Not going well 2 years ago

There’s too much going on and my diet is suffering.
I will lose the weight but maybe not as quickly as I’d hoped.



Thought I'd had a bad week 2 years ago

I’d not had enough fruit and indulged in sweet things occasionally but still lost some weight (over a lb).



On track 2 years ago

And I celebrated with a chocolate bar and a few jaffa cakes.
No more sugar until next weekend.



The diet has restarted well 2 years ago

I’m not having any cravings and have strictly kept to the diet for 3 days now. It’s a good start and last time found that the first few days were not easy.

Now to continue the good work

I aim to complete this goal by end Feb at the latest.

This has been on hold for a little while and due to Christmas and other issues but I will restart the 2nd week of January (after some parties and trips).

I hope I haven’t put too much on but won’t be upset if I’ve gained a few lbs. I’ve more on my plate at the moment than being paranoid about my weight but will take care and watch what I eat/exercise again.



Result ! 3 years ago

Well I haven’t quite lost the last couple of lbs (they’re so stubborn) but I was out at the weekend and saw people I haven’t seen in a year. Quite a few recognised me but some didn’t. I was chatting to someone who when my hubby turned up said “How’s Heather?”. She was so embarassed but I was so chuffed. She wasn’t the only one either. :)

I do look different – my face and neck are so much thinner now and much better for it.
