After my 2nd redundancy in 3 years I need to do this 2 years ago

This time I found work really quickly but I didn’t last time and it would have been a lot easier with savings.

I have had savings more recently but splurged them on buying our flat, a new laptop and a wonderful luxury holiday. OK so we have our own roof over our heads, a useful piece of kit and good memories but not too much in the bank.

Must start economising more (or win the lottery).
