win a contest

I used to enter contests all the time as a kid. My dad thought of it as a way to help improve my writing skills (see, this was in the day of letter writing and postage stamps, etc). I won candy bars, t-shirts, toys- you name it. I even one a Coneheads jacket (remember the movie?) That, so far, has been the highlight of my winnnings. I won some beauty products from some magazine contests a couple of times. The last thing I won was a free pizza from Papa Johns. I won that because I put my name in a raffle on the local news website. If you notice the trick is to enter little known or unpopular contests- that way you increase your odds of winning. I’m not trying to win a million bucks although that would be nice, but I just like to win things ;o)
