Update

My job will not become full time, so I am saving all the money I can, for when I move to Sweden (which will be April or August next year). I have to move some of the money in my bank account to my savings, to keep it safe (like I won’t spend it). Also have to chase up last month’s wages.

I need a plan

I will have to list all the monthly expenditures that need to be, keep that money in my account for their separate purposes and move the rest to my savings account, so it is safe. Of course, until I have a full time job, this won’t be necessary, as I am a. not driving my car yet, b. not doing hypnotherapy and c. not paying rent. I think once I am working full time there will be driving lessons, rent and a couple of other things to think of, but I’ll work it out :)

Money

I get around £45 per week to use as I please, and all that usually gets spent on is driving lessons, and essential things. What with birthdays, mother’s day, etc. I imagine that won’t be the case for the next few weeks, but it is good to spend sometimes. When I’m working it’ll be different, I’ll be earning more, but with the extra money I will have to delegate it to different places. That’ll be the real challenge :)

I'd like to think...

...that I’m sensible with money as it is, I don’t really have wild spending sprees, or buy very expensive things on a whim. I guess it’s also because I don’t have that much money – violin plays in the background – so when you have little you appreciate it more, or something. The real challenge will be when I have a job.

Spending

It is important to occasionally buy things though, it doesn’t have to be expensive, just something you want, to prove you’re actually working for something :)

I don't know how I'll know this is acheived

I guess I’ll just have a gut feeling, when it is second nature to save over spending lavishly. Mind you I’m not one for much of that at the moment, but I think when you have a regular income, it is more tempting :) I shall spend a good long while saving I think. That would be best :)
