I’ve got an extra £340 fro August, and I’ll have some more by the time I’m off to Sweden. Yay!

It’s good to have this saved. I’m glad I have this much, but I’m still saving, for August and the most of September, then I’m off to Sweden where I’ll be having to buy lots of furniture (well, the bare minimum, but that’s still a lot), have rent to pay, and all kinds of other things. That’s what this money’s been for. It’s also good to know I can save when I need to.
Every month I think, right, I know what I’m spending on, and the rest has to be saved. But this month; we’ve had some super hot weather, and so I needed to buy some vest tops appropriate for work. Okay, so they were all pretty cheap, but I had to buy enough to last at least a week, and it’s all money. Then there was a sun hat, and I had to find one which I would actually wear. And my mother’s birthday on top of that.
Anyway, what’s done is done, I just can’t believe I keep thinking I’ll actually spend the amount I say I will, it never happens, something always comes up.
...when I’ve saved £6,000. That’s what I want to have saved, at least, hopefully more than that, by the time I move to Sweden.
Most of February’s paycheck went on Mother’s Day, Dad’s Birthday & Flights for May’s holiday (my brother and I are going to visit my boyfriend in Sweden for two weeks). But I swear, I’m going to be saving most of this month’s paycheck.
I know some are not fond of trying this as they’re worried they’ll pay for something they never receive, I’ve never had it myself, but then I always go with sellers who have a great rating. It’s worth doing if you’re buying anything on Amazon, look how much I saved this time around:
£3.99
You Save: £16.00 (80%)
I got paid more than I expected (because my hours are so unpredictable, sometimes I do full days, sometimes they’re half), so I now actually have about £4,500! How cool is that? :D This saving is going so well.
And by this month’s paycheck, I’m thinking I’ll have just over £4,000 saved. Ideally, I want about £6,000 or more because when I first move to Sweden I will be looking for a job and not earning. For this reason it’s important to have a safety net.
