quaker meeting 20 months ago

Quaker meeting is all about listening: waiting together in silence to discern the will of the Spirit/Light/God.

This is teaching me to be a better listener in other parts of my life, too. But of course, it’s still a huge challenge. Especially with my mom. Sometimes it’s like we are in each other’s brains and can finish each other’s thoughts. And then sometimes we are so not able to do that. It’s most important that I not jump to conclusions.
