So I’d been stuck on a particular synthesis for some months now, working on it on/off. I decided to take a different route and change the structure a bit, but not completely changing its character. And it worked :) We’ll not talk about yield just yet…
Purification is such a pain and probably the most difficult and/or tedious part when it comes to synthesis. I love HPLC. Gah.
I called and my chemical is backordered until Nov. 22nd! I am currently reorganizing ALL of my data (sigh) which I think will make my life easier in the long run. It’ll be another good start in the lab tomorrow…
