Great way to help the Earth, save money, and get some more exercise :) That’s a little over 6 miles a day (there and back)and it’s a lot of fun so long as it’s not raining. Hmm… not quite sure what to do once it gets colder…. (clothing-wise)

I now have a running buddy :), starting next week. We don’t know how often we’ll go running, but having another person is always a good motivator. This will certainly help my soccer/ultimate games.
Just started and it’s great! The first YMCA game I went to, the opposing team inquired what group we were. After learning we were ‘chemistry grad students’ they walked away with this ‘tee-hee..silly chemists’ look. I must say, a weeks worth of pent-up frustration in the lab really helps. 14-1 was the final score after the hour game.
The hard part is waking up at 5:15am to get there esp. when it’s pitch dark when you get up. But I’ll make it tomorrow!
