Ahh…there’s nothing like getting up early on Saturdays just because your boss likes to have group meetings on morning Saturdays. (evilness!) And then after the 3 hour-long meeting, everyone figures, ‘heck, I’m already at work…I might as well do something while I’m here.’ It’s sad when you look forward to weekends only because less people are around so you can have more alone time to work on your projects.

It’s amazing that even in grad school, you come across the most clueless, idiotic people in your field/profession. And I don’t mean pet-peeve-annoying people…I’m cool with them…but real complete morons that don’t know jack about their field! And even worse is when they try to pretend like they know more than they actually do! Stop it with the BS or just ask, please, if you don’t know something before you hurt someone/break something. My brother-in-law said he remained in academia (professor) to avoid dumb people…but I don’t think you can ever really avoid them. As to how these people make it this far is quite a feat, in my opinion.
Nearly half way there…3 years left…I hope my sanity remains intact until then (cry). Lol.
