I have a two year old, work full time, and am in school fulltime. I feel better when I do get the exercise. I need a better schedule or something! I think it is doable…just struggling with figuring out how at the moment.

I am going to start tomorrow. I need to get my behind in gear if I’m going to finish the tri in June!
It’s been a year since I last posted on this one! YIKES! I am leaving this a goal because when I finally get the apporoval from my Dr. I want to jump back in to the 4 times a week. I’ll have to work it around feeding the little guy and DHs schedule but we’ll manage. I do need to add that I believe that the gym offers 1 hour of baby sitting for 6 weeks and older…for free! I need to double check on that, but I think that’s what I remember having heard.
Managed two days this week. I will do 4 next week:
Sunday pm
Tuesday am
Thursday pm
Saturday am
Yes, I know tomorrow is Christmas Eve…but the in-laws cancelled brunch and I’m going to the 8:00pm Christmas Eve service at church. The fact that the gym is open from 9-2:00 clinched it! I will be on a treadmill tomorrow morning at 9:15. If Christmas Day is nice I might take a jog around the park! I only work Friday this week…and I am sooo looking forward to it!
I made it to cardio and water aerobics again tonight. So, that’s two classes in one week….actually it’s in one day. I am planning on water aerobics on Saturday.
Why, oh why is fitting two extra days of exercise into my schedule so difficult?
I’ve fallen off the exercise wagon…but I did manage to make it to cardio class tonight and followed it up with water aerobics. It’s been three weeks since we’ve gone!
Thanksgiving, the snow storm that came through and then my lovely cold kicking in right at the start of the whole move thing!
I’m glad I’m back…I might not be able to walk tomorrow, but I bet I’ll sleep really well!
Between the holidays, my grandmother’s second stroke, the moving of the office, the stupid cold I’m fighting and job performance reviews I just have not had the energy to get to the gym…which, one should note, would give me more energy. I hate it when I fall into this cycle.
Right now I don’t even have a plan to get myself going again! I will though! I might have to wait until after this weekend. The majority of the move will be finished at that point and my cold should be cleared up and my JPR’s will be well under way. I can’t do anything about the holidays or my grandmother…but the exercise will help my stress levels which always go up when I’m not in control! :-)
Too much good food to go out on Thanksgiving! BUT I really should have! :-)
So, I ran my two miles outside today. Beautiful weather…and I didn’t actually run them. I have trouble with pacing and started out too fast and ended up walking most of it!
I’ll be down another day this week…but 3 days is better than nothing!
The Thanksgiving holiday is going to mess me up. I ran tonight after work. I need to go in to work early tomorrow so I won’t be able to run until after…but the gym is closing at 6:00. I guess I have the option of running outside, but it will be dark by then and I’ve never been comfortable running outside in the dark…especially not by myself.
The gym is also closed Thanksgiving Day…but I won’t worry about that too much. I can take a jog around the block or on the trail at the park. It’s supposed to be a nice day. Friday I have off and the gym is open again but on a reduced schedule. If the weather is nice, I might run outside on Friday, too. Then there’s Saturday water aerobics!
Oh, wait! Hey that’s 5 days! So, I’ll skip tomorrow since it doesn’t look like it’ll fit in with my work schedule and then do Thursday, Friday and Saturday!
