I have no choice 1 year ago

A diagnosis of gestational diabetes took away my one can of caffiene free Coca-Cola a day. I’m surviving, but I’m bummed. it’s different when you feellike it was your decision. I’m not into chocolates but knowing that I can’t have any makes it harder somehow…

Last week... 1 year ago

This is the last week of soda for me! I have decided that next Saturday I will be making the switch. To clarify…I will drink water through out the day and will drink an “clear” soda for with my evening meal only starting next Saturday.

Why then and not now? Well, we got stuck with a bunch of soda left over from Thanksgiving…and I don’t have anyone to give it to and really don’t want to dump it, so next week it is!

My plan is to do this for a couple of weeks and then get rid of the carbonated stuff all together.

I’ll keep you updated!

Before 2 years ago

I’ve done this before…Kind of. I gave up dark soda. I’d allow Sprite or 7-UP. How quickly I picked the habit back up, though! I have switched to caffiene free so it should be easier. Sometimes I just really want the carbonation! Like with pizza and popcorn…water just doesn’t quite cut it!

And ultimately, I’d like to be drinking water instead of pop. I’ll get there someday!
