Not a problem at the moment. The little guy is up at 11p, 3a, 7a for feeding. I’m trying to get up and around prior to the 7am feeding so that I at least get a shower and food in the morning. If I don’t get up before then, it ends up like today, where I never got dressed! How embarrassing!

I’m only half joking here. New baby in the house. I’m “up” at crazy hours and then am back to bed. I have tried to be “up” by 10:00, meaning ready to leave the house, each morning since we came home from the hospital. More often than not we have been successful. This means I’m ready and baby is ready to go out the door, whether we actually have anywhere to go or not. As the time passes and I get closer to having to go back to work I’m going to have to move this time up so that I can get him to daycare and me to the office on time.
and about the same as what I’ve beend oing during the week. I was up and to the gym this morning by 8:30 and messed around on line for a bit prior to going. DH left for work at 7:30 and I got up right before he left. It’s close to being “right” for my schedule. I would like to get up a little bit earlier, though, so I could fit in going to the gym almost every morning and still make it to work on time!
Geez…with the four goals of Wake Up Early, Exercise 4 Times a Week, Get to Work on Time, and Creat a Beautiful and Uplifting Morning Routine, you’d think it was all interconnected…and maybe it is….????
To the gym, to the gym, to the gym, gym, gym! I need to get there by 5:45, do my two miles, and get home to get around for work.
So, alarm is set to 5:15!
I’m back sliding. I was up at 7:30 and made it to work by 8:45…which is better than what I had been doing, but it still isn’t 8:00 and I still didn’t make it to the gym this morning. I feel drained. If I wouldn’t have had to make dinner tonight I would have come home and gone straight to bed. Maybe I’m coming down with something?
I went into work last night. Worked 4 hours and came home around midnight. I didn’t make it out of bed before 7:00 much less 6:00. I reviewed the telecon invite and realized it was a 20 minute review meeting. I honestly do not believe I need to be there… and left a message for my boss who does need to be there. It’s confusing but it’s about access issues, mainly, and I don’t deal with accesses. So, I didn’t make it to the gym, this morning either.
I hope my day gets better as it goes on!
Still wanted to get up at 6:00this morning and managed 8:00 instead. Tomorrow I have to be up and to work at by 7:00 for a telecon. Which means I will have to get up even earlier if I want to get to they gym first.
For a Satuday getting up at 7:30 is kinda considered early…the problem is that I was planning on getting up at 6:00! I want to do this so I can start a routine. I deviated from the schedule, from the routine today. It’s okay. I’ll jump back on tomorrow. I haven’t totally lost it! I know 7:30 beats 10:30. I want a LONG wekend to enjoy…and sleeping it away doesn’t make it seem long!
6:00 again this morning. I need to make it through tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday and I’ll have made it through one week.
I just need to make it a habit!
I was up late last night watching and waiting for the election results to come in…so, I thought this morning would be rough. Surprisingly, I hit the snooze button and was still up at 6! We will see how tired I am at the end of the work day!
Went to the gym and am updating my goals while my husband is getting ready. I will leave for work by 7:45 this morning! Not much time so have to run!
