We are still on schedule for a circumnavigation in 2009… recently i was given a Catalina 27 (not a good blue water boat) but a fun inland one so we have been making videos of trips when we are goofing around. Well one of my next big ocean cruises is already set. Hopefully this December 4 of us including 2 maybe 3 or my RTW crew are going on a 31 foot boat to Bermuda and back to get some more sea time under my belt. It is the only thing we are lacking now before our trip RTW. The whole crew has been sailing most of them competively racing for the better part of a decade… but most of it has been inland in bays and rivers. We all lack extensive off-shore experience…. hopefully this trip and many more to come will prepare us somewhat for the RTW trip in 2009

Okay so I deleted my last post to start a new one… We are sailing around the world in 2009-2010 somewhere around there… we already have the money for the boat and are looking at a few between the 40-50 foot range. Most of these boats sleep around 8 people without adding extra beds. We plan on having a crew of 6 so far we have 4 that are definitely committed…If anyone wants to do this voyage let me know at alanswitt42@yahoo.com We have 2 spots available for the whole voyage and several spots for people that want to do legs of it. We perfer anyone going the whole way to have sailing experience but it is not required…just be ready to work hard and learn fast :)
