One down but not as quickly as I had hoped, need to do more.

AAAAHHHHHHH! Bastards! I’ve just totaled up how much I have been charged in bank charges over the past year for being over drawn and the like. At £35 a pop, £280. Fuck sake, the things I could have done with £280. Plus another £50 from late payments on my loan. And for what, so that a computer somewhere can send me an email saying “you do not have sufficient funds”. I know I don’t have sufficient funds, but I don’t know why it costs me £35 to hear it from you??? CUNTS! Little bit angry, need to sort this out.
Awesome, my university was ok with me taking another year out of my studies, in the middle of the year, parents not so ok with it. A lot of guilt feeling of, “we’re not angry, just very disappointed.” Who doesn’t love to hear those words. But it’s done, still confident that it was the right move.
I have emailed my tutors about an interruption of studies, hopefully they will let me return next year.
I have racked up a good £15000-£18000 in student loans, around £2000 in student overdrafts, £700 on a visa card, and still have a balance of £2700 on a personal loan. Oh and around £900 from my mum, awesome. On top of that, I am in the second year of my course in uni and therefore not earning.
My plan is to…
quit uni (or a least put it on hold)
get a job
pay off the £2700 (because that one requires monthly repayments)
pay off as much of the others as I can within a year
go back to uni in exactly 12 months from now with a little less debt and maybe something saved
finish my degree
get a phD/very well paid job
simple
