Shying out Smiling

It is not easy to smile for strangers. It is not easy to smile in public. Full stop. But I want to learn. I’ve been practicing smiling for a while.
It is hardest to smile for men. I suppose I am little scared how they will take it. I noticed guy watching me in the train, but I looked away and gave a wry-smile for a window.
I’ve been told years ago that I should smile more. I don’t like fake smiles, but the proplem is: I am scared to smile even when I feel like – I shy out.
Smiling is such a positive sign. It shows that you’re open to other people, even if you turn to look your shoes afterwards.
