I committed to exercising once a week for 6 weeks. I have done 5 weeks so far. I have been swimming most weeks and did step aerobics on the stairs one week. I feel like I can move onto twice a week soon. I think this slow, gradual build up is best for me.
I started going to the gym regularly in the summer and kept it up for a while. I found this more difficult once it started getting cold. I am going to try a new routine in the new year. Going to a class where I meet other people might help, so I will look out for that. I will also aim to go only twice a week to start with a work up from there.
