not care what people think

The last couple weeks, I’ve been very aware of other’s actions. I think it’s interesting to see how people change their tone when you basically tell them to kiss your ass. All of a sudden, you’re not that easygoing gal anymore and you’re being more assertive and basically saying, “step aside, I choose ME”. It’s a great feeling.

I guess I could say that I really don’t give a damn what most people think. I do care what my friends and family think of me, though. Lately, I find that many of my friends are very judgemental towards others and I’ve received a few moments of feeling less than satisfactory in their eyes. I am more than willing to accept CONSTRUCTIVE critisizm. The real challenge is to politely let those that offer their opinions and comments, that are potentially near-putdowns, to shut up. The negativity from these people is like a cancer on your emotional well-being.
