Clothes falling off 2 years ago

I have lost 48.6 lbs since October. It has been slow going the last couple of months with a close friend’s death, several birthdays and Mother’s Day. However, I have managed to hang in there and if I can’t stick to my diet as well I as should, I know to increase my activiity. I am still losing so that’s the good news. It is very hard getting back to the healthy eating habits once you let yourself get away from them. I know, because I am there right now. It is such a struggle and takes a lot of self-talk and reasoning, but I know I will get to my goal. The only thing holding me back is me. When I stop following the program I am currently following, I just know it will take me longer to be where I want to be. I am happy to say that I have lost a total of a little over 84 lbs since 2003. I tried on a bathing suit that fit me last year and this year it is fallig off of me. All of my pants are lose, even the ones that didn’t fit me before because they were too small. It is an awesome feeling. I hope that all of you are able to lose the weight you want to lose as well. Hang in there and don’t give up!

The last couple of weeks have been great! 2 years ago

I am down 37lbs since October and a grand total of 73lbs since 2003. I am feeling great! I am loving the new clothes that I fit into. I even went out and bought a pair of Gap jeans. They look fantastic on me, but even now they are getting loose. It is nice when you look forward to washing jeans so that they will fit better instead of dreading it because they tend to skrink a little.

Still working on this one 2 years ago

I rejoined Weight Watchers again near the end of October before Halloween. I have lost 31 lbs since then. However, since 2003 I have lost about 68 lbs. Weight Watchers really works. I am a bit bummed right now because I started working out recently, and I seemed to have gained weight. I know that it may just be muscle that I am gaining, but I don’t like what I see on the scales. Anyway, I have a little more than 30 lbs to lose before I reach my goal. I know I can do it, but right now I am a little stuck. :o(

Back on Track 3 years ago

I had reached my lowest weight in a long time this summer after returning from my vacation in Tunisia. Then when I started work again, I was really stressed out and didn’t have time to go to Weight Watchers meetings. I ended up gaining 15 lbs back. :( I decided to go back to Weight Watchers before I was too far gone. I have been on Weight Watchers for the past four weeks and I have lost 14 lbs. I am sad that I wasted so much time and now I am still not where I was before. However, if I look at my total successes, I think I have done a great job. In 2003 I weighted 50 lbs more than do right now. I still have about 50 lbs more to lose, but I feel a lot better about myself and I have more confidence that I can do it.

-29.6! 3 years ago

I just went to Weight Watchers tonight and found out that I had lost another 4.4lbs. I was shocked. This has been a hard week. I went to a funeral with a reception afterwards. I fed the stress I felt during the funeral with much food from the reception. I also hadn’t been following my diet that well and fell into some old habits. However, I was very careful in the days following the days I went off track. I guess it worked out well for me. I am so happy! I am now down to the weight I was when I first got pregnant with my first son. Now if I could only get down to my pre-wedding weight, that would be something!

Yeah for me! 3 years ago

I was very diligent about writing down everything I ate this week. It really put things into perspective for me as far as what I am eating. When I went to my Weight Watchers meeting and weighed in yesterday, I was 4 lbs. lighter than last week! Yeah! My current grand total for weight loss since February 1, 2006 is 24 lbs. I am really psyched! I can’t wait to get my gym membership card and start working out. It really helps when my coworkers and even my students notice that I have lost weight. It really makes me feel like what I am doing is worth the effort. Yeah, and it just feels nice when people notice!

Bad week... 3 years ago

I gained .6 of a lb. this week. I know it isn’t much, but it still hurts! :( (boo hoo) I expected it. Last week was so hard! I also went out for Afghan food with my hubby on Monday. It was delicious, but now I am paying for it. I feel more encouraged to do better this week. Also, I just joined a gym yesterday. I haven’t been yet. I need to wait for the membership card, but I think they have childcare which is a big plus. Yeah! I am looking forward to going. I have such bad back pain! I need to strengthen my core and tone up! The weather is changing for the better and we are finally thawing out. Spring is almost here and that is enough to make me want to get out and MOVE! YEAH!

Back on track... 3 years ago

I have been going to my Weight Watchers meetings for the past six weeks. I am happy to report that I have lost a grand total of 19.2 lbs! It wasn’t easy the first two weeks, but it has gotten a lot easier lately. I basically eat a balanced diet and
follow the program. I would like to add more water to my diet and also fit exercise into my schedule somewhere. Also, I need to stop drinking so much coffee. I am really happy with the results and I have already been out shopping a little.

My weekly progress is listed below:

Week 1: -7.8
Week 2: -1.2
Week 3: -1.4
Week 4: -1.8
Week 5: -1.8
Week 6: -5.2

I am really excited and motivated to keep eating this way. I am not deprived at all. In fact, my husband and I enjoyed a fantastic meal at a restaurant this past weekend. I didn’t really count points that night, but I still lost this week. I hope everyone else who has this goal is having good results as well.

Weight Watchers works! 3 years ago

I recently lost 37 pounds following the Weight Watchers program. I didn’t feel deprived and it was relatively easy to follow. I haven’t been following the program for a couple of months now and I have gained some back, but that is because instead of just not following the program, I have been completely binging during the holidays. I want to go back to Weight Watchers and start loosing weight again before I go to Tunisia this summer.
