I have been doing this six days a week and am totally hooked on it, I love it, i am doing 6+ km in one stretch and love the feeling, though the heat in dubai is giving me a depression, it makes one sweat more than usual. Running in the mornings or evening is almost impossible, the only possible time for running in Dubai is are the late evenings with enough wind whispering in my ear, I enjoy it, keeps me fit, helps me digest my food properly, burns extra callories, doesn’t make me fat, has kept me toned.
Sticking to the routine is very hard, one has to realize the importance of giving this task an hour for the actual run and atleast twenty minutes for stretches and muscle isolations. Anyway, i still don’t think i have achieved a great milestone here, the challenge is to outrun a friend who has also been keeping this running routine. Although my swimming stamina has increased alot. goodluck everyone else who is also doing this.

I have been doing 2 laps of 2 km track, twice a week, i want to be more regular at this, running is liberating. Its a different trip with the nicest high that drives adrenaline to every cell of my body. Doing gym seems fake and it budges up fat on muscle which is alright but i really don’t like the way it looks. I have better stamina than most gym going health fanatics, even if i do go to gym, it gets really boring for me and i tend to spend most time on the tred mill. Running, long distances bring a certain notion of achievement, a smile and one gets to appreciate all the beautiful things that we pass by. I hope to do it everyday.
