learn how to sew

I’ve got loads I want to make:
- A slanket
- a bag
- baby shoes for my boyfriend’s soon to be niece or nephew :)
- a dress
- a laptop cover
- a wall organiser

I even got a pattern for a dress and my boyfriend got me the material I need for my birthday :) but I still haven’t started. I think it’s because I’ve got so much I want to make I don’t know where to start.

Around christmas I made a bright orange stocking for my boyfriend (his favourite colour) and I made a dress for a fancy dress night out at uni which turned out pretty good. So I’ve had practise I just need to get back on the wagon!

I think this is a really good skill to have. I’d like to be a little bit housewifey (I’m terrible at being domesticated!). I’d really like to be able to make my own clothes. The only thing is sewing machines scare me :/ but I suppose I’ll just have to get over it!
