I’m not sure if this is on hold or what. I am not fit enough to do it right now but still want to. I have to find the best month and then book the trip so I’ll get myself into shape.

I have to admit, I am not much of an outdoors person. But I have for many years wanted to climb a proper mountain. Not a day hike, but a real gruelling, week-long, dig deep experience. My goal used to be Mt. Kilimanjaro, which I`d still like to do one day. But now, living in Kenya, I`m really interested in hiking Mt. Kenya.
I`m scared about doing it because I`m really worried about altitude sickness and also just wimping out. But I`ve got a friend who also wants to go and is pushing me to go. So if I train over the next few months and find a good company, I think I can do it.
