Recently, I was talking with a few people about eating, diet, nutrition, and health. One of the things that came up was how eating slowly was better for your health – I suppose for a few reasons, partly because you chew your food better and you feel full before you overstuff yourself.
Anyhow, it reminded me of how quickly I tend to – a habit that I think I acquired from years of being single and eating alone. So I’m making a concerted effort to slow down my eating, improve my table manners and enjoy my food a bit more.
