... and with only a few hours to spare before I hit the cinema for the SATC film!
That worked out beautifully…
We started Season 6 this morning. The final season.
I am amazed at how easy it has been to work our way through the entire series of SATC… and for that I really need to thank my long-suffering husband. Despite his initial moans and skepticism, I think he got into the spirit of it pretty early on. Thanks, hun!
Anyway, the SATC film comes to our local cinema next weekend, so it might be difficult to finish Season 6 by then, but you bet we’ll be trying our hardest. After all, what else is on TV… Big Brother? Don’t Forget the Lyrics? Puh-lease…
... and Husband has started to laugh out loud at the adventures of Carrie & Co.
Phew! SATC was quite a hard sell, and I am glad I’m not the only one enjoying it!
Today I sat down for lunch with my home-made speck and gorgonzola pizza (yum) and watched the first episode of Season 1 of SATC.
Carrie had red hair! Miranda looked so fresh-faced! Stanford… well, Stanford hasn’t changed a bit. Nor has Big.
I am still not keen on the “talking to the camera” device, but if I remember correctly they only used it for a handful of episodes; certainly it had disappeared by Season 2.
And maybe by the time I’m done watching all the TV series, the film will have come to my local cinema…
