start and complete NaNoWriMo

I started really strong on my first actual attempt at NanoWrimo, but my life got in the way. I got a huge job right after if started and totally derailed my ability to work. But I managed to crank out 8k words in the first three days, so I know I can do this. I’ll finish this project next year for sure!

I’ve been thinking about this for a few years, and now I’m finally going to commit to doing this. If you are not familiar with National Novel Writing Month, take a look at http://www.nanowrimo.org for more information. It doesn’t take place until November of each year, so I’ve got some time before having to address this, but it never hurts to get it on the list early.
