to take a day trip to Milwaukee this month to hang out with Julie and SweetMK. I think this will be great to visit them on their home turf. I’ve met Julie twice and SweetMK once in Chicago. I was in Milwaukee once but only during the night to see a concert.

and it is somewhat hard to leave Chicagoland. There is so much to do here. But to explore an elsewhere place once a month would be adventuresome, to say the least!
Leaving my city once a month… Where could I go?
Easy places would be in Wisconsin. I’d love to visit Julie and SweetMK in Milwaukee.
I’d also love to visit Wren in Utah and Bluepark in Atlanta.
I want to see my old friend Dave in LA, and I think Karen is close by. No?
I would love to visit my old Israel trip roommate in Boston, and see Jane, too.
I have some college friends who live in San Francisco.
In June, there’s a western herbology training in the Black Hills of North Carolina that I can go to at a discounted rate, and it sounds like I’ll learn a lot of great things there. And it’s in the same place that the movie ‘28 Days’ with Sandra Bullock took place in.
I’ve already left the country this year, and it’s only just begun! So, that’s really amazing, especially considering I was grounded most of last year.
Anyway, just gathering ideas. I think it will be more likely I’ll be going close by, but I do have a ‘travel fund’ that I’m depositing my former car payment into.
so that’s wonderful…
I wonder if Puerto Rico is leaving the country. Any thoughts?
So April’s requirement has been meant. It was nice to be in a town that was completely closed down after all the hustle and bustle of Chicago.
because I do love to travel. I don’t know if I’ll be able to go anywhere this month because funds are abysmally low, so my deal with myself is that as soon as I find a job/feel better financewise, I’ll make up for it next month. So, two places in February, maybe a daytrip to Beloit, WI and a daytrip to Madison, WI. Wish we had those cheap flights like the Ryanair flights in Europe that are only around 10 pounds. (Another good reason to move to Europe, that Ryanair.)
Will plan something for December, but probably something easy like going to Evanston, or going to a museum in Oak Park.
So, will need to plan more trips, now that I got the big “going to Europe for the first time ever” out of the way.
Went to Ikea a few days ago. So I’m keeping up with this goal currently.
