Hate State Board

I can’t stand State Boards for any state…you call them and they are the most useless people in the world. Too bad they hold so much power.

I went to school in Kansas and completed my 1500 hours of training. Before I had the chance to take the test I moved to New Jersey. I’ve lived here for 8 months now and haven’t taken my test yet. I am really nervous b/c the test is a little different up here. The State Board up here has not been helpful at all when I have asked them what is on the test, what I need to complete to even take the test, etc. So I called a school and found out that I need to take a 25 hour shaving course, you do your practical on a model and not a mannequin (which is different from KS) and there are things on the test here that aren’t on the one back home. So I’m frustrated and nervous. I know I really need to take because this is what I want to do, but I am reluctant to do it with no friends for models. I WILL do it though and hopefully this site will help me out!!
