This Bhuddist monk 4 months ago

A temple at Kamakura 4 months ago

This is a large temple precinct and there were many fascinating sights here.

My son is the natty hatted figure in the foreground.

I enjoyed seeing a number of young girls in light summer kimonos visiting the temple.

Phensy wrote a poem about Hiroshima 4 months ago

and I got my sister to write it out in calligraphy.

I did not manage to take a really good picture of it, but here is one. (I did not manage the light from the lamp in the room well.)

Thissnap will gove an idea of what it says, though.

This statue is near the dome in the Peace Park 4 months ago

Phensy’s poem is now at the foot of the statue, wedged amongst a collection of paper cranes.

I read it aloud and then placed it there.
