Gratitudes

for DH who had heart ‘fibrillations’ last night. He has bradycardia, I believe. He is currently in hospital and I am at home waiting for the removal truck so that I can supervise my sister’s move.

Becasue I could not eat anythign solid today!

(I have maybe 3kg to lose.)

I managed to break a tooth today, while crunching on a nutty snack. I chomped on a nut and crack! my only tooth with a filling, just cracked.

Within a couple of hours I was at the dentist and having a temporary filling put in place. This should last anything from 2 months to 2 years. Therafter I may need to get a crown for that tooth.

I am hoping that I don’t get an infection from the broken tooth. I did not have to pay anything because our medical aid covers it.

This is six months after the visa renewal was submitted …

I am amazed by her progress … AND she has a full time academic job!

in order to lodge a request for our son’s unabridged birth certificate and his ‘marital status’.

She commutes to Lincoln weekly …carzy, I know.

after her trip to Turkey even though she did not have the ‘biometric card’ — NOT supplied by the grossly inefficient and hideously bureacratic British Home Office.

A staggering 5 months after submission for visa renewal …. and this only after the intervention of an MP.

She left last night for a conference in Turkey.

to make dinner tonight – red lentil dahl with spinach, served with toasted pita bread.

That measn that i can concentrate on ….. da da ….. WORK!
