I was really surprised how hard one has to push downwards – using the full length of the arms as a lever and really pushing from the shoulders.

We completed it yesterday – resuscitation for an adult, a child and a baby.
I was surprised that it has changed from A-B-C to a simpler process. But one has to push rather hard – it’s not easy to get to 5 cm compressions!
Doing this on Saturday. DH and I are attending, along with our personal trainer and a number of her clients.
We will get certificates, so have to supply a copy of our ID documents.
Useful skill to have, I think.
