Improving my accent — 1 year ago
I am meeting Matt in town tomorrow morning to buy some CDs off him to just listen to and improve my speaking voice. I still need to find more people to speak to!

Had to see a HNO specialist today — 1 year ago
and I spoke German the whole time, mind you it was only short, but I was able to get through without resorting to English. Next time I will learn some of the specific words I need so I can ask more questions.
German friends — 1 year ago
A lady in the next building with a 4 year old daughter like me actually approached me on the street to make a playdate for them as they would be going to the same kindergarten in September. She seems very nice and we are speaking only in German whenever we see each other! So chalk up one German Friend for me (or at least for my daughter!)

I am listening to German radio whenever possible
I am reading a novel in German
I am talking to my neighbours in German
I need to sit down and study grammar
I need to record new words I learn so I don’t forget them
I need friends that don’t speak English… hard to find!!
