I will not be shopping for anything personal for the month of April  — 4 weeks ago

....and perhaps beyond, no shoes, clothes, accessories, makeup, books etc. I am having a spending freeze, trying to sell things, and downsize. The amount of stuff I have lying around with no home is becoming suffocating.

I like the sound of that Spending Freeze——for me. I still need to take care of my kids though :)

...finally!! The best way to do this is of course not to go shopping (the last thing I bought was makeup a few weeks ago), though I still get tempted by ebay. I read in a decluttering book recently too, that the best way to declutter your house is AS WELL as doing the decluttering is not to buy anything for six months.
