write anonymous, loving post-its for strangers to find

I left one in Applebees bathroom lol that said “Celebrate your unique Qualities – You are beautiful…pass it on…” And signed it “The Post It Bandit” and then I did one and left it in a Meijer Store that said “You are so beautiful when you smile..Smile at everyone and the world will be a more beautiful place”, and again signed it The Post It Bandit.

In the Applebees, a woman came out of the bathroom later smiling, and I hope she found my note! :-) My hubby at first acted like he thought I was nuts, but now he’s grinning and acts like he thinks it’s cool….

I picked up a pack of post it notes today…One has SMILE written in flowers and the other is vintage looking. I am going to start this weekend, when I have to go work out tomorrow and go to Home Depot (LOL I think I’m going to leave some funny ones for Guys in Home Depot). What the hell?!

Thanks to the 43-thing’er who thought this one up – To take Post It notes and leave kind, happy words in random places for people to find and enjoy! What a novel idea to spread kindness and smiles! If more people would spend time doing kind, fun things like this than being nasty and mean, the world would be a better place!!

I’m going to get some post-its and a sharpie and start when I go out later. One thing I have to add to this “Post It” Campaign is that I am not putting them on cars however (I saw someone said they put a note on a car). I’ve heard too many stories about bad situations that arise with crazy car owners, when people have left business cards, flyers, or other things on cars…even fights. So I’ll stick to restrooms, and random places in restaurants, stores, etc…bulletin boards.

I think I’m going to do affirmations – and happy positive encouragement ones…but ones that have suggestions on things to do to spread acts of Kindness (Smile and say Hi to everyone you see that looks sad…)
