become a better gardner

I used to take after my mom in the gardening arena. She can barely keep succulents alive, but I’ve really come a long way from dead money in the yard. I’ve done research and no longer plant shade plants in full sun. I love the process of wandering the garden aisles and choosing the perfect plant. Planning, planting, and weeding has become extremely therapeutic and enjoyable. I try not to do too much though because we live in a rental and won’t have this yard forever. My real goal is to have mostly California native plants.
