I weighed

72 exactly this morning so not much has happened the last couple of months. Still I am not too worried as long as I don’t start gaining weight again.

Sometimes I get stuck on the same weight for a while, but sooner or later the scale will start moving in the right direction again. I quickly lost 3 kilos in the spring/summer which was a very good result, and maybe my body wants to take a break and get used to things before it sheds a few more kilos. It helps me to think that way :)

Doing the happy dance!

Stepped on the scale this morning and it showed just over 72 kg. Woo hoo, only two more kilos to lose before I reach my goal weight :)

The last three kilos have disappeared very quickly compared to the first ones. It’s like I’ve lost nearly 1 kg a month, which may not sound like a lot but it’s still a quick pace for me :)

I’m feeling relieved because my BMI is clearly healthy now and I feel much more content with my body. I look at my shadow when being out on a walk and enjoy seeing that I have a defined waistline :) I try on clothes I bought about 6 years ago and can see that they fit perfectly. It is really nice to enjoy these small pleasures and victories.

But of course I still have some work to do before I reach my goal, so I am steadily focusing on what I want to achieve rather than starting to relax and celebrating.

I am weighing about 73 – 73,5 kg now, so I am still losing weight :)

Quite surprising since I don’t do that much to keep it going, just eat a little less and healthier, and move a bit more.

Well I have news!

I am now weighing barely 74 kilos. It is the first time since 2005 I have managed to get under 75, so just the psychological effect of crossing that line is HUGE. I am now fully convinced that I will reach my goal weigh, 70 kg, sooner or later. Just 4 more kilos to go, half the work is done now.

Hmm – - – Christmas & New Year, chocolate, cookies, cake, beer, tasty cheeses, long sleep-ins and little exercise = not good for the weight. I can state that pretty clearly although I no longer have access to a scale (it was my mother’s so it stayed at her place.) Not sure when I will be able to buy one, but as long as I get my clothes on things can’t be too bad.

Clearly 75 kg now

A nice surprise since I’ve been comfort eating the last week. This is going slowly but surely…Losing about 1 kg every 6 month as it seems :)

Just over 75 kg now

Hopefully this positive trend will continue…

75,5 kg this morning...

...I must be doing something right.

Still 76 kg...

...but feeling hopeful : )

Not too bad

Hmm, not sure what has happened but I seem to have lost nearly 1 kg in a week. I fell for the temptation of eating quite a lot of candy last night too, so it almost seems like a miracle. My weight is now just over 76 kg and I feel a little more inspired again.
