Get ready to move

I don’t feel any more ready than I was a week ago… However, some progress has been made. Biggest thing, I’m sure, I have turned in my notice (2/17) and my husband’s last day was last Friday. So he is making some repairs on the house, trying to take care of all that stuff while I finish out work.

We managed to clean out a lot of junk that we don’t want to take with us. (That was kind of hard, I have to really fight not being a pack-rat!)

We also filed our taxes. We really hope to get the refund before we move.

Okay, I need to do more research on housing, etc…

I just made a rental truck reservation. Yes! Actually, that puts a definite date on our move now. A little scary, but very exciting!

mentally preparing for this counts also. I don’t feel like I’ve made any progress on this at all. Maybe I’ll pick up some more boxes today. That should count as progress.

I picked up some boxes last night… That’s a start. I need to research moving companies.

This move is coming up really fast. By the end of March, not very long at all!
