Participate in PostCrossing

I got in the mail three postcards from Great Britian and one from Australia yesterday. Wow!

This is just too much fun!

I received a postcard from Brazil on Saturday… It was cool to get a postcard from outside of Europe… I guess Australia would qualify, too, though… Okay, revision: it was cool to get a postcard from South America! Although, hopefully I won’t anger anyone… Australia sort of “feels” like Europe when I think about it… must be because they speak English? Hmmmm….

Anyway, I mailed off a postcard to… You guessed it… Finland!

Today’s postcard is New Zealand bound…

Yesterday I received a postcard from Germany… and one of my postcards arrived in Germany…

Very nice juxtaposition of things on opposite sides of the planet, don’t you think? I liked it!

...while I was away on business, it seems that my postcard to New Zealand arrived…

I received a postcard from Slovenia.

I mailed a postcard to Germany (Leipzig) today. I also remailed a postcard to Australia and one to the Netherlands… they have been “in transit” 32 days and 28 days respectively, so I’m thinking they aren’t gonna get there… so I resent a card. Of course, if the receipient received the card and didn’t register it, getting another card might provoke some guilt and / or motivation and get the ID registered. Either way.

I’m up to 4 cards recieved… 1 Australia, 2 Finlands and a Slovenia. I’m jazzed.

...I’m sending a little 4×6 greeting to Germany today…

Also, one of my recent postcards to Finland arrived over the weekend – mine was the first postcard they had recieved from the US. I think that is pretty cool… Hope I made a good impression!

I received a postcard from Finland today… I’m beginning to have real affinity for the Finnish!

Actually, the postcard and the note were wonderful.

I’m very much enjoying PostCrossing and would recommend it to pretty much everyone!

Of course, there is someone out there that keeps getting addresses for the U.S. – “Geez, America again!” Ha!

My second received card is from Finland.

There seems to be a pretty heavy PostCrossing population in Finland; so far I’ve mailed two postcards there and gotten one.

Hm.

And mailed out a second postcard today. The UK, this time.

I wish it were as easy to “post” myself to some wonderful destination!
