send a postcard (or some better form of communication) to my Granny every week

I mailed my first weekly postcard today… it is a lovely scene of the covered bridge in the town where I work all covered with snow. The kind of postcard a Granny should love to get.

I haven’t seen my Granny in quite a while… and I am the black sheep of the family as far as writing and staying touch goes (as far as a lot of other things go, too… but I’m focusing on the communication aspect of things right now…).

I’m horrible, awful, bad about staying in touch… I mean really.

So my goal is to send at least a postcard to my Granny every week… building up to more would be great. I mean, I send postcards to strangers through PostCrossing… why can’t I do this for my own dearest, most loved family member?
