Avoiding getting a runner’s body, though. Slimmer, yes, twiggy, no. Lucas is a crazy runner, and it’s hot, but avoiding the whole chicken-legs deal would be fantastic.
Non-appearance wise, getting in better shape would be awesome. I can skate for hours, but for some reason I can’t run a minute. I always get side-aches, and it’s so embarassing, because everyone else can do it, but I can’t. It makes me feel inadequet, like people are like “Oh, the fat girl can’t run”. But I am actually healthy, to a certain extent. Ringette keeps me busy, although not as much as I would like for sure. But it’s like whenever I try to start running, I’ll get side-aches and I honestly can’t keep running. And they start about a minute into running. It’s always been like that. I would like to get over this once and for all, but I don’t know where to start. Plus, running on the street makes me embarassed. I don’t want people to look out their windows and see me. Insecurity, I suppose. I wish our treadmill still worked.
