Things are almost too busy now. I never got to do stuff before, because of ringette, but we made it work because I just hung out with the team. But now that its over, there’s movies to see and people to hang out with and parties to go to. Alcohol to drink. Haha. And I love every second of it.
Things calmed down for a bit there in August and September. But now things are really picking up. A new school has brought me new friends, new schedules, a new life. Ringette has brought me a hectic schedule; lots of practices and games. Its nice to feel like people want to hang out with me. Its nice when I can’t make it somewhere and my friends are disappointed. Not that I like them feeling disappointed, its just that its nice to feel important, or wanted.
I can’t wait until New Year’s Eve.
Things got busier for a while there… we had our Steubenville retreat for a night in July, and then the 21-25 was STEUBENVILLE EAST! Definitley the most amazing time of my life, but that’s another goal’s story… but anyways, after Steubenville was a few days to recooperate, and then was choir with Emma&Jill, Cornerstone with Emma&Jill&Jess, Angie&Eric’s wedding (Which was a very busy day… after the wedding I went to Emma’s, then we went to the movie’s with Jill, then I went to Jill’s until 11ish, and once I got home I hung out with the guys for the rest of the night!), and then came the Sunday of Goodbyes :(. Goodbye to Ethan, Conor, Miche, and Emeka. It wasn’t much fun at all, saying goodbye, but all the parties were fun :)
But yet again, here I am, alone. Emma is who-knows-where, Jill is in NB, Jessica is in NB, Roxanne is in Dallas, and pretty much everyone else is at Twin Shores. Hopefully things will pick up again soon. Jessica might come to CB with me in a week, which would be amusing. It might be good, too, give us a little friendship boost before high school starts and tries to tear everyone apart.
Buskers are in 10. Hopefully we’ll get downtown for a couple of those days!
I want some more excitement…
I think I’m the only one with a boring summer. No one ever invites me out :(
I haven’t been out with friends since the 8th! I feel like such a slag, just sitting here in front of my computer screen all the time. And of course, everyone else is out. They just all forget about me.
NOT fun stuff.
Went to a party on the weekend, and saw The Omen. Scared my pants off. More like shock-scare then nightmare-scare. But it was an OK movie.
It was HILARIOUS, because we were walking from Martha’s to Sobey’s, and Brianna drove by with her mom. SO FUNNY. It was kinda akward for everyone else, because they were like “oooh, she wasnt invited” but I was like “Suck it, bitch. I was invited and you weren’t ‘cause they LIKE ME BETTER”. So I was happy :)
Well I definitley have been doing this lately, but still not as much as I would like. May was filled with 2 sleepovers @ Taryn’s, a MuchVideo Dance, Vee’s Party, Dani&Kaila&Meg&Chels&Leah at my house for swimming, and of course CONFIRMATION! Still, it didn’t seem like a lot. Friday nights are still spent at home in front of the computer, much like tonight. I think June will get busy, what with my 5 exams, Prom Commitee stuff, Quebec/Montreal trip, MY BIRTHDAY, graduation from MSMS, Ottawa trip, Prom, and all that stuff! This weekend I am having a family-reunion type deal, I have 2 parties to go to on the 10th, a party of my own the next weekend, then the next weekend I’ll be in Quebec and Montreal for the school trip, and then the next weekend Ottawa for Canada Day. And in between is a lot of studying, exams, and spending time at the lake and at the pool with friends :D!
Summer will tell the tale, though. It’s different for me then everyone else because I don’t live in Kingswood, and it is usually just the Kingswood people that invite each other around. But it’s only the girls, really. Jesse and Dan live out by me and they still get invited everywhere. I don’t get it, really, and I don’t think it’s nice. Hopefully if the one group of people don’t work out, I’ll still have people like Meghan and Taryn to hang out with, because they are my lovelies!
Busyness is ensuing, we’ll see how much I get out!
