Getting better 2 years ago

I know it’s been a while since I updated this entry.

In the last 2 years my fitness has improved a hell of a lot, although jumping rope went by the way side.

About a year ago I started hill running and to begin with it absolutely killed me and I couldn’t even get to the top of the hill once, now I can manage between 7 and 8 sets.



Why? 4 years ago

I must try and improve my fitness, why? I love doing martial arts, in particular the Shukokai style of Karate and have been for the last 2 years.

The more time I spend training the more I want to train – it’s almost an addiction!

The real reason I need to improve my fitness is so that I can train longer and harder without injury.

I started doing more running at the beginning of the year and I’ve slowly pushed myself and I can feel my stamina getting better and better.

I’ve also started jumping rope, I’m not very good at it to be honest – I’m lucky if I can count 10 jumps before getting into a `terrible tacky tangle’
