Read 100 classic novels

Tender is the night, finished.

Okay, I had a list of the ones I was going to read, but I’m not going to stick to that. The goal is to read 100 classics, not so-and-so’s list of best or whatever. Jane Eyre wasn’t on the list! I read it anyway, and it counts towards it, because I say so, and because it it a classic. It’s replacing “the color purple” because I didn’t understand a word of that book, and only got a eighth of the way through, before realizing even if I did read it through all the way, it wouldn’t matter, because I wouldn’t have an understanding or appreciation of it. So, one more done.

1984 and To Kill a Mockingbird finished.
Took so long because I took a break to reread all the Harry Potter books.
