My son and daughter have both been to the west coast and midwest at least a few times (their grandparents live there), and we all went to Myrtle Beach last fall (that’s … haha). We also took my daughter with us when we went to the Mayan Riviera last winter because she was still nursing. Too bad she won’t remember!
I also show my son videos on the internet (love the internet!) of animals, places with lots of cars (haha… he has to have the vehicles… he is a preschooler, after all).
I think I’ve also been working on this goal by teaching my son to respect all life… human, animal, plant, etc. =) When he gets a little older, and when my daughter gets older, also, I’ll teach them that everyone is different, and sometimes very different from one another, but that we love and respect all of them.
