I’m at 169 mark. I’m hoping to loose the other 9 by New Years. Still focusing on my diet and exersising. I’ve cut out a lot of dairy and bread. I was with a buch of friends last week, so I drank a good amount, but I’m not too worried about that. Really focused on veggies, fruit beans and lentils which seems to work well. I’m actually going to add another 9 pounds to my goals so that my goal weight is 150, which will be my high school weight! I’m really excited and surprised how motivated I am. I never thought that I would actually be able to do this, but focusing on a few things that caused my weight to creep up over the years, seems to work. Also a ton of ab work, a ton. Everyone notices when you have a flat belly just fyi to you all and good luck :)

I was able to go to a scale and I’ve lost 15pounds already since the beginning of June. I’m down to 174. I’m happy :) I’ve done well with food and exercising although I still want to run more, I just hate it and I def run better with a partner. Unfortunately that isn’t an option for me at the moment. I have about three months before January and before I head to the lovely beach of Durban for New Years. I’m more determined then ever to loose the other 15.
Tricks I find that work well for me are eating a relatively sizeable bfst, eating a light snack and 2 pieces of fruit at lunch. Then at dinner I eat mainly a ton of veggies. I shy away from bread, rice and pasta although I still have them, but in moderation. I cook a cup max for dinner.
Also because I know my coworkers always tend to eat out while we are out of the office I make sure not to bring money so I’m not tempted to buy french fries or fried dough balls that they love to eat.
Overall, I’m happy I just wish I would run more. I’ll def weight myself again at the beginning of November, so I’m aiming for six pounds. Hope it works out.
Ok, so I left the states and before I ate a ton of food that i knew I was going to miss, so I certainly gained, but since arriving in country I’ve know I’ve lost some weight. Since I don’t have a scale I have no idea how much. However no worries b/c I’m going to wait till November when i go back to the capital and weight myself. It will be a nice surprise. I have done the following.
Limited drinking only when there are big gatherings
I run/walk every morning for about 30 minutes although I’m hoping to increase this to 45 minutes in about two months
I eat mainly veggies, fruit and whole wheat foods and drink a ton of water.
My goal is that by November I would have lost 15 pounds since Leaving the states and i think it’s completely manageable. I’ll update you all then and good luck!
So i lost 10 pounds, but then a bunch of friends from Greece came and we went out almost every night for two weeks. It was amazing but since then i’ve been all about going out and having fun. :( So i’ve probably gained it back. starting tomorrow i’m back to going to the gym and since i’m on lockdown in terms of spending money, i should make some progress. I miss the good old days of organized sports.
i hate going to the gym, but once i am there i am fine. I do weights, cardio and even dreaded crunches. I am also trying to eat right, but i love food and this has always been a problem for me. I also love drinking, but i am cutting down. So far i make sure that 2 out of my meals are healthy and I am drinking once a week and no more then three. I will weight myself every two weeks so i don’t panic. I want to go to the gym at least 6 times a week, but so far i am only going 3-4 days a week for an hour or two b/c of my schedule. I am going to try to work on that this week.
So I’ve been gaining weight and finally this week it hit me. Since graduating from college, a little over a year ago, I’ve gain 15 pounds. i notice it in my legs and it doesn’t look good. So i need to get myself into gear and back into some form of shape. I don’t know my exact weight but i imagine i am around 190. I joined a gym this summer but i need to get serious about working out five days a week, stop drinking so much and eating so much carbs. I am aiming for 5-8 pounds a month. So 6-7 months to loose the weight i think is a reasonable time frame. Wish me luck.
