work in a bookstore

I loved the idea of working in a used bookstore, since I love reading and I love books. It’s really quite tedious though. Lots and lots of alphabetizing and dealing with totally ridiculous questions. Customer service and retail is bad enough to begin with, but I got the worst customers from the bookstore. Thank goodness it was just a part-time job while I was in college, because otherwise I’d have gone crazy. The amount of work you have to do vs. the pay you get really isn’t worth it.
