Why is this so hard?

I know I have difficulty trusting men, in general, but I only need to be able to trust one. So why is it that I only seem to ever go on first dates, and then after a couple of phone calls or text messages, I just drop out? It’s never because the date was bad – I just lose interest in perfectly nice guys. What am I waiting for?
