My servant is zealous, and so intelligent. Even so early in his servitude, I could see his eagerness to please and his capacity to give fully and faithfully, without boundary or question. But in order for him to be the best servant he can be, and in order for him to please Me fully, Mistress must clearly delineate the expectations and prohibitions. Rules. So far our mutual intuition has guided this process. I have not had to train him much, he seems to know instinctively what I want, and what will please Me. But to rely on intuition and our natural synchronicity alone is unfair to him as well as to Me. There are already times when a lack of clarity has caused him to fail in small ways. That is not his fault as much as it is Mine. Without a clear sense of My expectations, there is no way he can fully succeed. Rules, then.
