Buy an iPod.

nabil got me an adorable Pink nano for Christmas. It just came in the mail last week. It is wonderfully fun. I have wanted one for quite some time. Merry Christmas to Randi. :)

I am ordering my iPod on Monday! YIPPY! I am a little disappointed that I have to wait til next week. But I am happy to have an exact date. I am going to get the 60g Video one. I saw one tonight and I am more than happy with how small they are. That was my big concern, that it may be to heavy or bulky for my arm when I am at the gym. But after seeing one tonight, I am not worried at all! EEE, I can’t wait!
I have decided to have it engraved even though someone (who shall remain nameless) told me it is a bad idea incase I want to sell it later. I don’t care! It is mine, and I want it to be ME! So on the back I am going to have engraved….

I have decided on a white one, even though I love the black. But white will look better in the cute pink case I am getting for it!

Goodness! I am so stoked to get it finally!! Hopefully by this time next week I will have my own!!!

Do I spend the upwards of almost $500 to get something that I want SO SO badly OR do I do the responsible thing and save? I don’t know!! I “need” the iPod! I can’t go to the gym without music. I need to go to the gym!! I asked nabil for his opinion and I totally expected him to say I should save it or something. I mean he is constantly telling me how “You need to save….. Money is freedom….. You don’t need more cute tops….. Life isn’t about cute tops…..” I mean the wrath I got for getting new shoes. Not pretty! But he is overly supportive of getting the iPod. He says it is important.
So I want it, I claim to need it, and nabil thinks it is ok too! Sounds great to me!! But I am still nervous that it is just too much money to spend right now!! :) EEE, decisions! I hate them!

who works for the Apple Store. I have only met him twice and he has always been nice. But I am still suprised at what he is willing to do for me. I guess nabil told him today about my hunt for a good deal on an iPod. He said that he could get me the one I want and use his employee discount for it! :) So that would get me like 30% off! How great would that be? There are a few little details that have to be worked out, so hopefully they get worked out soon. Cuz this would be the most awesome deal ever. How nice of him huh? YAY for nabil’s friendship!! :)

The guy I bought it from is pretty much backing out of the auction. He said he doesn’t have any left. I felt a sense of relief! :( I am a little disappointed to. But this is good. Now I can hold out and get the one I really want… a black one! :) Maybe I will just get a shuffle to hold me over! We’ll see!

I in NO way, shape, or form, have the money for an iPod right now. But despite that, I just bought one on eBay a few moments ago. I got a brand new 60g iPod Video. I am excited cuz I want one so badly. But I CAN NOT believe that I just spend $350 on something so materialistic that I SO don’t NEED! I am actually getting sick. I don’t know if I really thought I would win the auction! Oh gosh! And what makes it worse is that I really wanted a black one and the one I bought is white. Is that a huge deal? When I bid I thought that maybe it is worth comprimising(sp?) the color to save $60+ dollars. Is it? Or should I have held out for the black. nabil had just finished telling me that if I am spending that much money I should defintily get the one I want… and then I go and buy the white one anyway just ten minutes later. He is not going to be pleased. Maybe I should just turn around and re-sell this one on eBay and pay a bit more or wait a bit and get the black one that I really want! OMG, I am freaking out here. I need to be buying a car, NOT an iPod! I can’t breath! I just spend $350 of my deposit for a car. What was I thinking? OH!!!!

(On a happy note though. I am really super stoked about finally having my own iPod. So I can stop borrowing the little brothers when I wanna use it at the gym! So I am kind of happy!)
