I am a writer

I’ve been so busy planning the school year and helping the kids and not planning my free time that I’ve not done any writing. Not unless lesson plans and school year schedules count.

Starting Friday things will settle into more of a rhythm. I will schedule time to write.

It strengthens my backbone and encourages me to write more. It all started with my joining a writers’ group in another town. When I went to pick a label name for the group emails, I chose “I am a Writer”. The first time an email popped up with that label and I read it – it hit me in the chest.

As for a specific goal: To work on the story of the stones prior to the next meeting.
