So after my wonderful Valentine’s Day proposal from Markus, it’s been a bit of a treat for us to use the F-word (no, no, the other F-word).
Neither of us is in a rush to actually plan a wedding yet, but it’ll happen. We’ll at least wait until our little ring bearer is old enough to skip swallowing the ring.
Ah yes, the ring. That’s the next step of this goal. We need rings. Markus knew I wanted to use my great grandmother’s diamond & to help design something (which is why the surprise proposal was sans sparkly-bits), so we need to do that & have it re-set. Markus suggested having small rubies (his & Isak’s birth stone & one of my favorites) on either side of my diamond… and I prefer something less… gold.
This is a rather big undertaking, this ring. He’s been saving for it since last summer (not that I care about the ring-bling, we’d just like to have something nice for both of us) so we’ll just have to take some time to find a quality jeweler to help us.
Sigh. I love Markus.
