You can find some of the best photos from our trip here. What a beautiful place. We spent most of our time in Old San Juan & on the island of Culebra. We also visited the Piñones area & loved it. Had wanted to hike in El Yunque, but time didn’t permit.

We can get low fares right now for the time we want to go, & our friend’s home is available then. So we have spent a few hours poring over maps & other online info to plan the outlines of our trip. We’re going for a combination of history (Old San Juan) & nature (El Yunque & Culebra).

Will confirm dates with our friend tomorrow & buy the tickets!

That’s the anticipated date. A friend has offered use of her vacation home, so it should be an economical as well as interesting trip.
